GBD Neurological Centre
The Global Burden of Disease (GBD) Neurological Centre was established in 2019.
It links NISAN with the World Health Organisation’s Global Burden of Disease specialist partner, the Institute for Health Metrics Evaluation (University of Washington). This has created a centre of experts in analytical modelling for the global burden of neurological diseases. Analytical work for the Global Burden of Disease study is underway, covering 6 neurology-related burden estimates.
