NISAN team presented at the Indian National Dementia Strategy meeting

On 29 September 2025, Valery Feigin and Rita Krishnamurthi, supported by Bala Nair and Michael Kravchenko, presented virtual talks at the Indian National Dementia Strategy meeting. This meeting was attended by experts and leaders from all over India in population sciences, psychiatry, neurology, and neuropsychology from Academic, Healthcare, and social services sector.

Rita presented learnings from her research on dementia with the University of Auckland and AUT and Valery shared the importance of preventing stroke and dementia, as they share common risk factors. He also talked about the importance of our digital technology in that space and shared the importance of that from the Global Burden of Disease and policy level.
